2011-09-16 11:00

After weeks of voting and campaigning to get a new female presenter for the Tropika Island of Treasure it seems the public has spoken and have chosen Nicole Flint as their favourite.

Flint who was Miss South Africa last year, was announced today as the leading lady to present the show’s fourth season alongside 5FM’s DJ Fresh, in Cancun, Mexico.

The 23-year-old beauty didn’t have it all too easy as she had to compete with former child star Carly Fields and models Stephanie Schildknecht and Pearl Thusi.

But it was her who scooped the prize and is set to jet off to the party island alongside seven celebrity contestants Slikour, Joelle Kayembe, Tshepo Mogale, Phila Mazibuko, DJ Zinhle, Poppy Ntshongwana and Tracy McGregor.

The latest instalment of’s popular reality TV show is scheduled to hit local screens early next year.
