Four Robbers killed in KZN

Police shot and killed four robbers in a shoot-out in Sydenham in

Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Thursday.

“Police received a tip-off that six men were going to allegedly rob

a house in Sydenham on Wednesday.

Police scouted the suspects and started

chasing them, an exchange of gun fire occurred,” said Superintendent Vincent


Four men were shot dead and two others ran away.

Mdunge said the men fired shots first then police responded.

“It was also believed that the men were involved in a series of

robberies in certain KwaZulu-Natal areas,” Mdunge said.
