Model cause: Funds from Candice Swanepoel’s jeans collection will go to charity

South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel has teamed up with Los Angeles denim maker Mother on a 90s street-inspired collection.

The range includes seven styles, from high-waisted to skinny jeans with slashed knees and are unmistakably reflective of the Victoria’s Secret angel’s personal style.

A portion of the proceeds will go to a South African organisation called mothers2mothers, which works to prevent the spread of HIV from mothers to their children.

Swanepoel told Vogue magazine: “I was looking for things I have a personal connection to and so, for years, I’ve been trying to get more involved in things in South Africa. It is appropriate that it is mothers, and Mother for mothers2mothers.” – Thembisile Dzonzi

The collection will be available from from today
