Gola disses sushi king’s bulls**t

Sushi king Kenny Kunene has got a new enemy – and it’s no joke.

A night of fun turned ugly when comedian Loyiso Gola lashed out at Kunene at the launch of Kunene’s reality TV show So What.

“You know what, f**k you, Kenny, and this show. This is bulls**t!” Gola shouted after Kunene boasted about his millionaire lifestyle.

e.tv launched three reality shows, including Kunene’s, at Soweto’s Chaf Pozi bar on Thursday night.

The ex-convict-turned-businessman was speaking at the event about what viewers can expect from his show.

“This show is going to be the life of entertainment, not as boring as the Kardashians. It will speak to South Africans; we don’t want shows like Kardashians that are fake and boring,” Kunene bragged.

Flaunting his show with an aspirational slant, Kunene added: “It will mentor young people to work hard, adults to not hate our success and teach young girls to know that us rich men will throw money at them and dump them,” and then sprayed the audience with a bottle of Moët et Chandon.

After this, Gola returned to the stage to close the event with guests expecting him to crack a final joke.

But instead he started lashing out at Kunene, pointing at the sushi king and frequently using the f-word.

“How can you f****n’ come here revving your Lamborghinis while outside here people are starving; you speak about women like that while there is Aids out there killing people.

“I don’t give a f**k about your show (or) who you are because this is bulls**t man! How are kids going to find inspiration in such a bulls**t show.”

Gola then put down the microphone and sat down.

Kunene, who was at the back of the venue, apparently did not hear Gola’s tirade and expressed surprised when asked by City Press for his reaction.

“I’m not worried about Loyiso, I’ll deal with him in my own time. I do a lot for people, what has he done himself for people?”

Gola said he was done talking about Kunene and would not further comment on the issue.
