League has failed South African youth

2012-06-30 09:18

The ANC Youth League has failed South African youth.

The league hardly paid attention to matters that affect young people and instead spoke about the nationalisation of mines and land questions.

Is that really what preoccupies young people?

For example the month of June is commonly regarded as youth month. What has the league done? How many job initiatives have they inspired?

How many millions of rands have they spent on bursaries for needy students?

What has Julius Malema done to promote unity among youth across colour lines?

But R100 million was wasted on kissing and beer parties.

Instead of encouraging young people to read, get a proper education and make themselves ready for the challenging future ahead, they are being misled.
