Lee-Ann Liebenberg’s husband hijacked

2011-11-03 07:03

South African model Lee-Ann Liebenberg’s husband has been hijacked in Parkview, Johannesburg.

Nicky van der Walt was hijacked around 3pm yesterday in his driveway. He was forced from the vehicle, and his Range Rover and Rolex watch were taken, The Star newspaper reported.

Liebenberg and the couple’s one-year-old daughter were in the house at the time.

No one was hurt.

Lieutenant colonel Tshisikhawe Ndou told The Star that it was too early to say whether the notorious “Rolex gang” was responsible for the hijacking.

The vehicle was recovered about 10 minutes later near the couple’s home, the newspaper said without giving further details.
