More details on viewing Madiba’s body as it lies in state

The body of former president Nelson Mandela can still be viewed in Pretoria until Friday. Here are the arrangements:

Park and ride facilities are available from:

» Tshwane Events Centre in Soutter Street;

» LC De Villiers Sports Facility in Hatfield (South Street entrance); and

» Fountains Valley Park.

The body will be moved from 1 Military Hospital at 7am tomorrow and on Friday.

Members of the public can view the body from 8am to 5pm.

The GCIS said in a statement: “Mourners are advised that cameras, including cellphones, will not be allowed at the Union Buildings.”
