Even without Knowledge Musona, Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter still expects his team to dominate the Soweto derby on Saturday.

Musona has been ruled out of Saturday’s game with a suspected broken shoulder he suffered after he had scored against Free State Stars on Sunday.

The good news for Chiefs is the availability of winger Siphiwe Tshabalala. Earlier, it was feared that he could miss the game.

Baxter said Tshabalala took part in two training sessions this week and did not show any signs of discomfort.

“Shabba is completely fit. Musona is not looking good and will be out for a while,” said Baxter.

He said he expected another tough encounter against the Buccaneers.

He said Pirates were motivated by their success in the CAF Champions League.

“Every derby is different as it is about pride and bragging rights. It is more than just the three points at stake and we want to do it for our supporters.”

Pirates coach Roger De Sa said they would guard against complacency going into the derby. He said his players needed to come back to earth after reaching the final of the Champions League.

“We are ready and we hope it will be another good outing for us. We are on a roll and we want to continue with the momentum,” said De Sa.
