Ne-Yo coming back to SA

2012-12-04 11:42

Three-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo is returning to South Africa next year.

The singer, who has visited the country twice before, will be back to unveil alcoholic beverage Malibu Red, of which he is the creative director.

“Malibu and I have been working behind the scenes to create a rich experience for Malibu Red that represents the many different creative areas of my life. Beginning with its smooth and fiery flavour fusion, we hope it resonates that same feeling within others,” said the artist in a press statement.

The event is expected to take place at The Venue in Melrose Arch, Joburg, on January 17, with local artists such as AKA and Toya deLazy performing on the day and DJs Milkshake and Ricky on the decks.

The host for the event will be 5FMs Poppy Ntshongwana and the event will be strictly by invite only with some tickets up for grabs in the beverage’s competition.
