Nothing could spoil sisters’ swanky soiree

The ANC Youth League march might have held up traffic on Thursday evening, but it sure didn’t stop twins Ntando and Hlelo from celebrating their pre-birthday party at the Regent Penthouse in Sandton.

The pair, who star in their own reality show Blame It On Fame, invited friends and colleagues to spend the evening with them in the posh suite that had everyone gaga.

First, I must applaud the girls for actually being at the venue from the start because for the last couple of months I have spent my nights waiting for the birthday girl or boy to arrive and, frankly, I had had enough.

Also there was Yfm DJ Pearl Modiadie, Craz-e presenter Leeroy Wright, TV personality Sade Giliberti, MetroFM’s Azania Ndoro, and DJs Sphectacula, Naves and Dimplez.

There were also random hot men walking around. Apparently they were Cleo bachelors. I just didn’t know who they were there for – until I heard Hlelo was single?.?.?.?LOL.

Ciao cocktails were served throughout the night along with mini-servings of kebabs, chicken wraps and salmon as guests spent the evening chatting, listening to music and watching the beautiful view of the Sandton CBD.

Before everyone headed out to go about the rest of their night, the ladies made us all sing that infamous birthday song before sharing their vanilla ice cream birthday cake.

I must admit the cocktails looked really pretty. Pity I don’t sip on a school night!
