The legal team of murder-accused Paralympian Oscar Pistorius failed to stop gun-related charges from being added to his case.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed the addition of the charges, and also confirmed that it had turned down requests by Pistorius’ legal team to prevent the additional charges being added, according to radio news service Eye Witness News.
