Oupa Manyisa’s agent, Thabo Moloto, has confirmed that the midfielder is set to join Mamelodi Sundowns.
According to KickOff, Moloto has revealed that Pirates chairperson Dr Irvin Khoza and Sundowns’ owner Patrice Motsepe are currently discussing a fee for the attack-minded player.
“As things stand Manyisa will join Mamelodi Sundowns before the transfer window closes,” said Moloto.
“Look he is okay. He is happy because of what he has achieved at Orlando Pirates and it’s not like he is leaving Pirates without achieving anything.
“He won back-to-back trebles under the tutelage of Rudolf ‘Ruud’ Krol and reached four finals. He’s very excited to be joining Mamelodi Sundowns.”
The news will come as a shock to the Sea Robbers fans because Manyisa has been with the club since 2008, having made more than 200 appearances in the famous black strip.
