PSL gets back on the road

The Absa Premiership resumes tonight after a week off.

Log leaders SuperSport United’s unbeaten run this season comes under threat when they visit Ajax Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium this evening.

United have gone nine games without a defeat, the only side in the league with this impressive record.

Gavin Hunt will be looking to consolidate his position at the summit of the log at the expense of the inconsistent Urban Warriors.

In another game this evening, high-flying Moroka Swallows welcome Bloemfontein Celtic at Dobsonville Stadium.

The resurgent Swallows have been flying high this season and are lying third on the log while Phunya Sele Sele have been blowing hot and cold.

A victory for Swallows will see them flying over Kaizer Chiefs into second position.

Tomorrow, Bidvest Wits host Orlando Pirates at the Mbombela Stadium in a 6pm kick-off with Chiefs entertaining Santos at Peter Mokaba in Polokwane two hours later.

In an afternoon game, struggling Jomo Cosmos, who propping the table, will be looking for their first victory when they play Golden Arrows at Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton at 3.30pm.

There is also the battle of the Stars at Goble Park where Free State Stars host Platinum Stars in another 3.30pm kick-off.

On Sunday, Mamelodi Sundowns will host Maritzburg United at Loftus and AmaZulu welcome Black Leopards at Moses Mabhida. Both games kick off at 3.30pm.
