A 33-year-old Pakistani woman has been robbed and raped, allegedly by two men, in Sun City Village near KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga.

“The woman was walking on the outskirts of Section C (yesterday), collecting payments for bedding she previously sold to the residents, when two men accosted her,” said Sergeant Nonhlanhla Kgosana.

“One of the men drew a gun while his accomplice pulled out a knife. They led the woman to the bushes, about 1.5km away from the homes.”

They dragged the woman on to the mountain and robbed her of two cellphones and R100 cash.

One of the men then raped the woman.

She went to the police station to file a report.

No arrests have been made.
