Penny Lebyane’s back to surf airwaves once again

2011-07-23 16:08

Motswako presenter Penny Lebyane is going back to her “first love” – radio.

She announced that she would be joining Pedi radio station Thobela FM in August.
The mother of two, who gave up on radio when she decided to call it quits with MetroFM after a dispute over her contract, is set to present a midday show on Thobela every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 1pm.

“Yes, it is true that I am joining the station. Radio has always been my first love and I feel that going to a Pedi station will extend what I do with Motswako already.

“I never did give up on radio.

“My contract with MetroFM only expired this April even though I have not been there since last year.

“I just didn’t want to fight about the contract so I chose peace by walking away,” said Lebyane.
