These men have consistently looked like they have just stepped off the cover of GQ this year and last night the magazine gave them kudos for their efforts.

It rained men last night in Joburg as South Africa’s best-dressed men were honoured at a classy event held at Emoyeni Conference Centre.

Businessman Abey Mokgwatsane, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather SA, took home boasting rights money can’t buy as the best-dressed man in the country.

The first runner-up was Sergio Ines, creative director at 99Cents. TV personality and businessman Lungile Radu came in third while model Brr Rogers and TV presenter Lunga Shabalala completed the top five.

Mayihlome Tshwete, spokesperson for Minister of Public Enterprises Malusi Gigaba, took his rightful place in the top 10, followed by Nicholas Christowitz, owner of Father Coffee. Award-winning rapper Khuli Chana secured a spot as well, as did Van-Lee Johnson, brand manager of Markham. Comedian Siv Ngesi closed off the top 10.

In total, 50 men were recognised for their stylish threads and some famous names included sportsmen Faf du Plessis, Itumeleng Khune and Francois Hougaard; channel head Monde Twala; Raphael Benza, MD of Vth Season; Andile Ncube, SABC sports presenter; Siyabonga “Scoop” Ngwekazi, TV presenter and founder of Pieces Streetwear; stylist Dumi Gwebu; Thabiso Khati CEO of 360 Street; fashion designer Thula Sindi and political anaylst Ebrahim Fakir.
