South Africa lost to New Zealand by four wickets with one ball to spare in the semifinal of the Cricket World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand, on Tuesday (March 24 2015). The Proteas posted a revised Duckworth-Lewis target of 289 with Faf du Plesis and AB de Villiers top scoring with 82 and 65 (not out). The Black Caps took the game to the wire as South African-born Grant Elliot finished the game with a six off the second last ball to break 54 million hearts.
