Police still to ID ‘Lolly partner’ body

2011-09-28 10:47

There was no confirmation that a body found on Joburg’s East Rand today was that of Mark Andrews, a former business partner of murdered Teazers strip club boss Lolly Jackson, police said.

“We cannot confirm the identity of the man yet,” said Colonel Lungelo Dlamini.

The body appeared to have been dumped around 3am near the R59 road in Brackendowns, Alberton.

“He had a wound to the back of the head and his hands were tied behind his back.”

Earlier, reports stated the body was that of Andrews, who was in a business dispute with Jackson over the ownership and running of a branch of Teazers in Cresta, northewestern Joburg.

Reports last week that Jackson’s attorney, Ian Jordaan, was killed last Tuesday also remained to be confirmed.

Police still had to identify the charred body – thought to be that of Jordaan – found in a burnt-out car west of Joburg last Wednesday.
