Public Protector takes a break

2014-12-22 16:21

Complaints lodged with Public Protector Thuli Madonsela will only be attended to in January because the office will be closed for the holidays.

“Only walk-in and telephone services will be interrupted during the break,” spokesperson Oupa Segalwe said today.

“The public may continue to use the Public Protector website, fax or email to lodge complaints during this period, but such complaints will only be attended to when the offices reopen on January 5.”

The office would be closed from tomorrow.

“The Public Protector and staff take this opportunity to thank the people and government of South Africa for supporting the office’s work in 2014,” he said.

“The Public Protector and staff wish the people of South Africa showers of blessings, joy and abundance over the festive season and in the New Year.”
