Rare fossil find to be displayed

2010-04-28 15:10

The two-million-year-old Sediba fossils will be on display at the Wits Origins Centre until May 15.

Johannesburg residents will have the opportunity to view one of two hominids discovered by Wits Professor Lee Berger and his son Matthew.

The entrance fee for members of the public has been reduced from R65 to R35 from Monday to Saturday, and to R15 on Sundays and public holidays.

The reduced fee will entitle visitors to a full tour of the museum as well as to view the fossils.

The fossils will be housed in the Gallery of the museum, which is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
