Musician Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and his co-accused Themba Tshabalala were expected back in the Protea Magistrates Court today for the continuation of their murder trial.

The two face 10 charges, relating to the murder of four schoolchildren and driving under the influence of drugs.

This followed an accident while the two were driving their Mini Coopers down a road in Soweto while school children were walking home from school.

Andile Mtombeni (19), Phomelelo Masemelo (16), Mlungisi Cwayi, and Prince Mahube (both aged 17), died in the incident.

Fumani Mushanana and Frank Mlabo suffered serious injuries, including brain damage.

A second eye witness, who will be the fifth person to testify in the murder trial, is expected to take the stand.
