Rudolph told them that only the girls’ parents were allowed to collect her, asked them to leave and then walked away. He was attacked from behind and smashed over the head with a heavy object, after which he fell to the ground. He was kicked in the face before his attackers fled, but they were identified by a witness. Rudolph was admitted to hospital for treatment, and discharged on Saturday. A charge of assault has been laid against the five assailants.
