Three men were arrested in connection with a business robbery at Devland in Diepkloof, Gauteng police said today.

Lieutenant-Colonel Tshisikhawe Ndou said police were patrolling the Devland industrial area when they saw a man running after a maroon BMW and joined in the chase.

They managed to stop the vehicle and search it.

“Three suspects aged between 30 and 35 were immediately arrested with two unlicensed 9mm firearms together with the grocery items stolen from the victim’s shop,” Ndou said.

The men were expected to appear in the Diepkloof Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of business robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms.
