Tickets for the Johannesburg show range from R400 to R1 250 and tickets for Cape Town range from R350 to R1 250.

Showtime Management announced on their Facebook page on Monday morning that they will be bringing Eminem to South Africa in 2014.

Tour itinerary:

Saturday, March 1 2014

Tickets will go on sale via Computicket on Thursday November 21 at 9am.

This will be Eminem’s first visit to South Africa and the African continent. Eminem, or rather Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has sold more than 115 million albums worldwide.

Billed as one of the hottest albums of the year, Eminem’s new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, has sold well over 750 000 units since its release on November 5.

In South Africa, Eminem remains one of the most successful chart acts of all time. Of his eight albums released here, seven of them went to number one.

He has hit the top of the Top 100 Airplay Singles Chart six times, including Without Me and Lose Yourself, and most recently with his 2010 Rihanna collaboration, Love The Way You Lie, which was the second-biggest-selling single that year.

His new single, Monster, also with Rihanna, is this week’s highest debut on the South African RAMS chart. The new album The Marshall Mathers LP2 debuted at number one on iTunes chart and number nine on the physical albums sales chart.
