Vavi ‘cooperating’ with new forensic auditors, yet to be charged

Embattled Cosatu boss Zwelinzima Vavi says the union federation has hired new forensic auditors to investigate him for “supposed missing millions”.

City Press reported on Sunday that the forensic investigation into the sale of the old Cosatu headquarters for R10 million, from which Vavi has been accused of benefiting improperly, had almost grounded to a halt after the killing of the auditor who had led the investigation.
