Will Greg pull a hat trick on Class Act?

2010-05-08 08:59

Greg Parvass has proven once again that he is the man with the

goods on episode 8 of SABC 1’s Class Act.

Parvass is officially the only guy on the show – dubbed South

Africa’s toughest film audition – to have won the Class Act of the Week Award

When guest presenter Terry Pheto handed the award to him, Parvass

could hardly contain himself and performed a victory dance for his achievement

in the Film Noir episode.

Malusi Mbele was dealt a blow when judge Rapulana Seiphemo said

about his performance: “If I was watching TV, I would have switched the

Yonda Thomas delivered a decent performance, but as Moonyeenn Lee

said, Thomas should “leave his eyebrows at home”.

S’dumo Mtshali gave yet another solid performance, but his

young-Madiba-like hairstyle left much to be desired.

The charming Thabo Rametsi, who had said earlier that he was

confident he would not be leaving the show, got the chop.

Mbele was in the bottom two, and when asked whether he could be the

one leaving the show, he said “not until my Jesus says so”.

Nkosi then took advantage of the situation, saying that he hoped

“Jesus has a cellphone”, in which case Jesus could vote for Mbele to stay.

It was refreshing to see Nkosi without those frustrating cue cards

for a change.

In tonight’s episode, the guys get to play villains, a role Muzi

Ngwenya should handle well.
