Zar will venture into the porn industry, ex-con turned businessman Gayton McKenzie has revealed.

Said McKenzie, who is a business partner of Kenny Kunene: “The whole Zar brand is changing, we’re coming out with things that people are gonna go: ‘Oh my God!’”

But McKenzie would not go into detail as yet.

He said the ZAR nightspot will reopen later this year in Newtown, Johannesburg, and will branch out to different countries around the world.

“We opened the first few ZARs, saw our mistakes and we went back to come up with something out of this world,” McKenzie added.

The porn side of the business, which will be launched this month, will be run by Kunene. “That’s 100% Kenny,” he said.

Later, ZAR will launch a dating site. “We have something interesting planned, which is different from those normal sites.”

The empire will also go into merchandising and clothing. “We’ve got so many big plans and A Hustler’s Bible (McKenzie’s book) is the first to come out.”

On the cards is a blockbuster movie based on his biography, focusing on his prison life.

“I can tell you I’ve met with Denzel Washington and many people are interested in the project, but it will be solely funded by ourselves.”

“Kenny has something with SkyTV coming up, but I can’t say much about that. There will be an announcement next week,” he said.
