Zayn Malik has released a new song since leaving One Direction and the news has not been well accepted by his former band mates.

Producer Naughty Boy announced the release of the song via Twitter yesterday with a link to the demo on SoundCloud. But it seems the song is no longer available on the audio platform.

The track titled I Won’t Mind features the vocals of Malik.

The heartthrob quit the pop band last week because he wanted “to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight”.

Meanwhile, Malik is reported to have signed with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music for his solo career.

A source close to One Direction told “They all feel betrayed by Zayn, but especially Harry. Harry was always his biggest supporter and close friend.”

One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson had a heated response to Naughty Boy retweeting a video that claimed he “saved ‘Zaughty’” and “Zaughty will rise.” Tomlinson tweeted: “Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you’re so inconsiderate pal, seriously how f***ing old are you? Grow up!”

In his first interview since the split with The Sun, Malik said: “It is crazy and wild and a bit mad but, at the same time, I’ve never felt more in control in my life.”

The British-Irish boy band said they would continue as a foursome and will release their fifth album later this year.
