20 schools in sevens tourney

GLENWOOD will again be hosting the @lantic School 7s tournament today. Sixteen such tournaments are hosted around the country before the schools final in November.

Last year it was Pionier from Vryheid that won the KZN leg, with Maritzburg College the runners up. Pionier are back to defend their title.

Twenty schools have entered, a number from outside the province. They have been divided into four pools with the seeded schools in each pool being Pionier, Maritzburg College, Glenwood and Overkruin from Gauteng.

The pool matches begin at 7.30 am with the Cup final just before 2.50 pm.

Pool A: Pionier, Sarel Cilliers, Clifton, HTS Tuine, Montana.

Pool B: Maritzburg College, Westville, Pinetown, KZN Development, Oosterland.

Pool C: Glenwood, Kearsney, Northwood, Estcourt, Port Shepstone.

Pool D: Overkruin, Excelsior, George Campbell, Port Natal, DHS.
