Acclaimed wine on auction

MARGATE Round Table is to host the Stephen Esterhuysen memorial wine auction on Thursday at the Margate Hotel.

A statement issued by the charity organisation said the auction will build on the success of the 2009 auction.

“We’ve gone to great lengths to secure quality wines you would not readily find at your local liquor outlets. We sourced a range of unfiltered wines; unfiltered wine retains its complexity and natural flavor.”

On auction will be unfiltered 2007 Fleur Du Cap Merlot, unfiltered 2007 Fleur Du Cap Viognier and Fleur Du Cap Unfiltered Semillion 2008’

The 2007 Merlot recently won a silver medal at the Michelangelo CCL International Wine Awards 2010.
