... And the baby's name is Nelson

2010-03-27 00:00

OASIS guitarist Noel Gallagher is planning to name his unborn son after Nelson Mandela.

Reports in London tabloids say that Gallagher’s girlfriend of 10 years, Sara MacDonald, fell pregnant while the couple were in South Africa, and suggested the baby be named after Mandela.

Gallagher (42) reportedly told friends he was delighted after MacDonald (38) had her three-month scan this week confirming the pregnancy. They already have two-year-old son, Donovan. A source told the Sun newspaper: “They are over the moon that Donovan will have a little partner in crime to play with.”

Gallagher has been taking a break from the limelight since Oasis split last summer.
