Another chance to bid and win an ocean cruise

2010-02-17 00:00

ONE lucky bidder secured a cruise on the MSC Sinfonia on Friday at a big discount on the going rate of R15 000. Today it could be your turn!

Bid R100 or more and you could secure a cruise for two valued at R15 000, leaving Durban on March 8 for Barra Lodge and Maputo, in a luxury, ocean-view cabin.

The highest unique bid opened today at 4 pm will secure this amazing cruise for two, including all meals and entertainment.

To qualify for the winning bid, you and your travelling partner must be able to produce valid passports immediately upon being advised that your bid is the winner.

The cruise is not transferable and will be awarded to the next highest unique bidder in the event that you are disqualified.

Payment of the price you bid will be required straightaway to confirm your booking.

The editor’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition is not open to staff of the Witness group or their immediate families.

SMS 34419 and the words “Witness Cruise”, followed by your surname and your bid. Only bids of more than R100 will be considered. No cents will be accepted. The highest bidder will be advised by phone this afternoon and will win the cruise subject to presentation of a valid passport.

The cruise will be forfeited in the event that the winner is not able to travel, for whatever reason, and any payment made will be forfeit. The prize is not exchangeable for cash. The cruise departure date is also not subject to transfer.

Proceeds from the charity auction will be donated to the Pietermaritzburg Children’s Home, so you’ll be supporting a very worthy cause at the same time
