CAMPERDOWN police have appealed for information regarding the particulars of a pedestrian killed in a car accident.

Police spokesperson Captain Zenzele Ndlovu said the pedestrian was knocked down and killed on the N3 south-bound near Ashburton in July.

She said the African man was 25 to 35 years old, dark in complexion, of medium height and had a small beard. He was wearing black jeans, a lime coloured track top, black striped long T–shirt, a white belt and a pair of boots.

Ndlovu added that Camperdown police are investigating a case of culpable homicide

Anyone who can assist in identifying the man should contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Shezi, at 031 785 9024/25 or 082 220 1125.

“Any witness or informant who wishes to remain anonymous may also contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” said Ndlovu.
