Arrested with dead woman’s furniture

2011-09-30 00:00

TWO women will face a charge of possession of stolen property after furniture belonging to a murder victim was found in their home near Hibberdene.

Slindile Priscilla Bhengu (39) was murdered at her house in January this year.

Since then nobody had occupied the residence and all its contents were left as is.

Members of the Port Shepstone tactical response team received a tip-off that furniture belonging to the deceased was in a house in Bangibizo near Hibberdene.

When Hibberdene police members responded, they found the furniture and arrested two women in the house.

Police found the lock on the door of Bhengu’s house had been broken.
