Art on sale in July

2008-07-08 00:00

The Blue Caterpillar Art Gallery at Butterflies for Africa is giving art lovers the opportunity to buy top-quality work at reduced prices. The move comes as a result of increased pressure on consumers in South Africa which has resulted in less money being left over for luxury items such as art.

After negotiating with artists, the gallery is offering reductions on every piece of art on show for a three-week period from July 5 to 27. Gallery curator Jeni Cramer wants to encourage people to make use of this opportunity as there are some very impressive artworks available.
