AS they look to resume the second round of the PSL programme, AmaZulu have been boosted by the imminent signing of Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder John Aruwah. The Ghanaian, who shone at Maritzburg United before earning a move to Celtic three seasons ago, is highly rated by Usuthu coach Craig Rosslee. Usuthu media officer Brilliant Mkhathini confirmed the latest developments yesterday. Aruwah’s arrival could help bolster the midfield that has been left depleted after the departure of Letladi Madubanya and Mohamed-Awal Issah. Should Aruwah’s papers be sorted early, he could feature in Thursday’s game against Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Durban club have been dealt a blow as new recruit Ruzaigh Gamildien has been ruled out after suffering an ankle injury. Usuthu had a bleak Christmas after being thumped 4-1 by Kaizer Chiefs in Durban in December. The Buccaneers will head into Thursday’s clash on the back of a 2-1 defeat by SuperSport United — a result that puts their head coach Roger de Sa under more pressure.
