Bafana player Serero could move to Fulham

CAPE TOWN — Bafana and Ajax Amsterdam playmaker Thulani Serero could be on his way to English Premiership side Fulham in the January transfer window.

Serero (23) joined the Amsterdam-based outfit in July 2011 after a successful PSL campaign with Ajax Cape Town.

Serero inspired the Urban Warriors to second spot finish on the log under the Dutch mentor Foppe de Haan in 2011.

Serero could be on his way to Craven Cottage, with the club’s manager Martin Jol apparently keen to bring him on board to help strengthen his side, who are in the bottom three after 12 league matches.

However, with Fulham performing so badly at present, it remains to be seen if Jol will still be the club’s manager by the turn of the year. publishes all comments posted on articles provided that they adhere to our Comments Policy.
