Banyana too good for Namibia

2014-08-11 00:00

THE South African Women’s national soccer team Banyana Banyana comfortably beat Namibia 2-0 in an international friendly match at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto yesterday.

This was the second meeting between Banyana and the Brave Warriors in the space of a month, with the South Africans 2-1 winners in Namibia last month.

Banyana took the lead early in the first half as Amanda Dlamini slotted home a well-executed goal three minutes into the game.

They are preparing for the 9th African Women’s Championship in Namibia from October 11 to 25.
