Beekaman staff donate supplies to the SPCA

BEEKMAN Group employees from their Port Shepstone headquarters have supported the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) 2011 Winter Warmth campaign.

Employees donated a large amount of food, blankets, toys and cleaning materials to the Margate branch of the SPCA on July 15.

Samantha Podmore, the Beekman Groups marketing and PR executive, said they “applaud the tireless work that they do, and are immensely proud to be able to contribute to the efforts of the local Margate SPCA. We urge the South Coast community to also get involved, as together we can make a difference”.

All 230 employees contributed to the donation that came just in time for the bitter cold front that has gripped the South Coast.

“This winter we put our energies into helping not only the human capacity but also the furry little creatures as well,” she added. — Witness Reporter.
