Benefit evening: for John Campbell

2008-05-25 00:00

THERE will be live entertainment and fun at the Karkloof Club on May 29. Dix Voster will perform and the evening is in aid of the John Campbell Benefit, to help Campbell replace his bakkie, which was stolen last month.

Campbell serves as chairman of the Fire Protection Association, a position that does not draw a salary.

The benefit organisers are asking major landowners and businesses to sponsor R500 each to cover the costs.

Tickets are R200 per person, which includes supper, and are available from Rob Wood at Crop Gro. For more information, contact Peter Goble on 033 330 4590, Bruce Mackenzie on 082 808 9772 or Llewellyan Collett on 082 432 7320.
