Bursaries: Agric pupils rewarded

2007-11-28 00:00

Zikhelele Madlala (Grade 12) and Mbhasobi Ngubane (Grade 11) received bursaries for their Grade 12 studies for 2007 and 2008 respectively. Zikhelele’s tuition fees for 2007 have been paid in full and Mbhasobi, who was chosen as head boy for next year, will have his 2008 fees paid in full.

A capital grant was also handed over to director of Zakhe Agricultural College, Richard Dladla, to be used in upgrading the water supply to the accommodation and for the repair and maintenance of their tractor.

The Joseph Baynes Salvation Army Children’s Home in Pentrich was another beneficiary of the Estate.

The money will be used to finance an industrial tumble drier, a floor polisher and repairs to a mounted lawn mower.
