This year, spectators around the world will be able to watch the 85th Comrades Marathon finish online at

Following the success of last year’s real time Internet feed, the Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) has gone interactive.

Along with live streaming of the race’s finish, a special online application allows users to follow their favourite runner with the Track Your Runner application.

Those wishing to watch the finish via the Internet, or use the Track Your Runner application will need to download a 5.6MB install file from

Technophobes need not worry; as usual, the entire Marathon will be screened on SABC 2 on race day, Sunday May 30. — OC.
