Chota Motala: New traffic lanes

2012-08-29 00:00

MOTORISTS are warned of new lanes on the Chota Motala Road N3 construction site.

Site manager Bradley Naidoo said traffic on the current slow lane of the southbound carriageway will be shifted to the new concrete surface adjacent to the median wall, from Chatterton off-ramp to the Manning Road bridge.

Traffic from the Liberty Midlands Mall will now have a dedicated lane to merge with the N3 traffic and to access Chota Motala Road (Church Street).

“Please note that the lane width is 3,6 metres for the Durban bound traffic and 3,5 metres for the dedicated slip lane between Sanctuary Road on ramp and Chota Motala,” Naidoo said.

The lane configurations would be in place for the next two months.
