City Hall: Preparing for the proms

Seated in front of the magnificent City Hall Organ are (back row) Brian Zuma (city marketing manager), musician Alisdair Muir, (front row) Madelaine Jackson (manager- Office of the City) and Chris Hodgkins (producer of Last Night of the Proms). The concert returns to the Pietermaritzburg City Hall on Friday, February 27, and features the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Russian maestro Naum Rousine as well as soloists Stephan Louw (tenor), Lauren Da Sappa (soprano), Chris Coburn, (organist) and the Durban Symphonic Choir, Maritzburg Singers and the choirs of Maritzburg College and Pietermaritzburg Girls' High. This classical spectacular has a splendid programme and there has been a phenomenal response. Tickets are selling fast. To avoid disappointment, people wishing to book should contact Pearl at
