‘Class Act’: Facebook auditions, first in SA

2011-04-14 00:00

IN a first for South African television, the producers of the acting reality show Class Act will be giving wannabe contestants the chance to audition for the show on Facebook.

Facebook auditions will give a chance to all the hopefuls who were unable to make it to the regional events, including those held in Durban.

All uploads will be viewed by the judges — Moonyeenn Lee, Rapulana Seiphemo and Mfundi Vundla — with an invitation to the national callback auditions at the end of April at stake.

Auditions can be uploaded to the ClassActSA Facebook fan page on the video tab until 1 pm on April 22.

Class Act season two — which will be hosted by Kenneth Nkosi — premieres on Saturday, April 23, at 6.30 pm on SABC1. — Arts Editor.
