Clifton pupils selected to represent KZN

2012-06-20 00:00

THE former Natal and Durban Varsity scrumhalf Brian Borgen is now making an impact in squash, and is playing a major role in promoting and coaching the sport at Clifton Primary School in Nottingham Road.

Brian and Liza Borgen, a teacher at the school and the squash co-ordinator, were recently rewarded for their enthusiasm when 19 Clifton pupils were selected by the KZN Primary Schools Squash Association to represent age group teams. The U13s are playing in the Inter-Provincial Squash Tournament to be held in Port Elizabeth from June 23 to June 27, and the U11s are participating in the Angela Difford Squash Festival in George from June 23 to June 26.
