DAY two of the water-polo tournament saw most of the play-off matches taking place, with Bishops starting off the day’s fixtures against KES, seeing a confident Bishops side comfortably take a 9-3 win against KES followed by a 9-2 win against Kearsney. Clifton re-established themselves as one of the favourites of the tournament in their game against Affies, after a four-all draw last night against St Alban’s. A closely contested game between St John’s and St Alban’s saw St John’s take the victory by five goals to four. In the latter half of the afternoon, a determined Affies defeated Reddam by 10 goals to five.

Quarter- and semi-finals take place tomorrow, with Clifton up against KES at 9.30 am, followed by DHS and St Stithians at 10.30 am, Bishops and St John’s at 11.30 am and Hilton and Affies at 12.30 pm. The semis will take place later in the evening at 7 pm and 8 pm.
