In the final, it was Clifton’s Mark Spencer who had the measure of the College defence and he was essentially the difference between the two teams.

The DHS team had a titanic struggle against Westville for third place. Eventually, after the two sides were equal after full time, DHS won 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out.

In the U15 division played at Thomas More, it was Maritzburg College that reversed the U19 positions by beating Clifton in the final. Jarred Visick and Kyle Westman from College were the star performers.
