Collegians awarded walkover

The Maritzburg Collegians First Division South fourth-round fixture against Kokstad at Woodburn Stadium on Saturday did not take place as scheduled.

No explanation was made available to the media prior to the weekend, but it emerged yesterday that Collegians had been awarded a walkover.

In House of Paint Premier Division (Moor Cup) fixtures that did take place, College Rovers were far too strong for Maritzburg Varsity, winning 57-6.
