Comedy is back

THE Jamal Syndrome, the latest comedy from Mahomed Alli and Essop Khan, is coming back to the city for one performance in the Truro Hall on July 4.

The play, set in the eighties, deals with the chaos created in a traditional Indian family by the arrival of their son with his white bride. The parents had planned to marry their son into a wealthy family.

The show is presented by the Young Natalians Sports Club, and tickets are available from Bhamjee’s Fashion Store (033 342 2025); Goga’s Pharmacy (033 391 0372); Cubed (033 342 7646); Olympic Catering (033 387 5492) and SMS Trading (033 387 3801).
